Coming in July:Channel Cat Talks include Quad City's First Residents, Quad City Pelicans, I-71 Bridge & Its Features, and The Music of Bix Beiderbecke & Louie Bellson.Riverine Walks include Hiking Smith's Island, Helping Monarch Butterflies, Port Byron History, and Exploring Nahant Marsh.

Compete individually or as a relay team in River Action's annual Taming of the Slough Adventure Triathlon on September 28th. Participants paddle 2.5 miles in Sylvan Slough, mountain bike 7.5 miles around Sylvan Island (5 mile single-track/2.5 paved), and run 2 miles along the Mississippi Riverfront on the Downtown Moline, IL course.

For the month of July, we are reading Mike Krebill's 'A Forager's Life'. This month's discussion will be held on July 23rd.
