WHAT TO WEAR

Dress for the weather. Wear your Floatzilla T-shirt, shorts, and comfortable shoes. You may wish to bring a hat, something cool to drink, and wear sunscreen. It can be quite warm and sunny.

ASSIGNMENTS AND CONFIRMATIONS

Volunteers will receive confirmation of your assignment, date and time, and an orientation will be scheduled for volunteers where T-shirts will be distributed.

If you cannot volunteer for Floatzilla after signing up, please contact the organizers to let them know as soon as possible. Give us a call at 563-322-2969 or email ahamerlinck@riveraction.org.

Volunteers helping in the launch, loading/unloading areas, and portaging MUST be able to lift 40 to 50 pounds as they will be assisting with unloading, launching and loading kayaks and canoes.

Volunteer times listed are for Friday, August 15th and Saturday, August 16th, 2025.

**All volunteers must be at least high school age unless accompanied by an adult. Each volunteer will receive a FREE Floatzilla 2024 tie-dye T-shirt and a boatload of thanks!
