Carli Schlabowske

Carli Schlabowske is a Geographer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, where she supports civil engineering, flood risk management, and environmental projects through geospatial analysis and technology. She graduated from Augustana College in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, along with minors in Environmental Studies and GIS & Technology. Her background in biology and environmental science, combined with her expertise in GIS, remote sensing, and uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), allows her to apply innovative geospatial solutions to complex environmental and engineering challenges. In her current role, Carli serves as the district’s UAS Technical Lead, leading aerial data collection and developing workflows for imagery and remote sensing analysis. Her work focuses on using emerging geospatial technologies to improve data collection, analysis, and decision-making.
